Kerima is an educator and a trained storyteller. She tells stories for social and environmental justice, to bear witness to and honour the courage of people who resist oppression and work to bring about change. She focuses in particular on the tree huggers and human rights defenders from South Asia and the Monsoon regions.
She also enjoys telling much-loved folktales from all around the world starring mischievous demons, clever princesses, magic pots of plenty, flying horses, wise-talking parrots and many more magical things that populate the world if you just know where to look. She often weaves environmental themes into these tales as well.
Stories are suitable for children aged 5 years upwards. Children must be supervised by an adult. Older children can attend alone provided a responsible adult remains at the farm during the session.
Booking isn’t required but space is limited, please arrive 5 mins before the session starts.
