We celebrate our ability to welcome groups of school children to experience a slice of the countryside in the city. Our education programme is designed to support curriculum learning, bringing lessons around food, animals and nature to life. A unique outdoor classroom offering an invaluable teaching resource for all ages and abilities, we have a number of options available designed with teachers and students in mind.

A farm for all…

🌻 We are a charity and are reliant on income from our education programme to remain a free community recourse. However, we believe in free education for all and will not refuse access to local schools, organisations or children.

🥕 If you are a school based in Tower Hamlets who would like to visit the farm but cannot afford to book onto one of our packages, please CONTACT education@spitalfieldscityfarm.org or for KS2 & KS3 classes, see our schools bursary scheme.

Sheep & wool fair 2021

“Spitalfields City Farm is a fantastic resource for our pupils, many of whom come from deprived or ‘just about managing’ families and have few opportunities to visit places of interest like this. Workshops such as this one really helps to broaden their experiences and enriches their learning at school. Thank you!”
